    Case Study: Pipeline Events

19 April 20264 min readBy ReLink Solutions Team

Pipeline Events is a luxury events brand based in West Yorkshire, offering bespoke event space hire and full décor packages for weddings, private parties, corporate events, and more. Their clients are planning occasions where the venue and presentation matter enormously. The website needed to reflect that.

What they had before did not.

    Where They Started

Before coming to us, Pipeline Events had a site built entirely by AI. It was an impressive achievement for someone with no web development background, and it got something live. The problem was the technical reality underneath: a PageSpeed performance score of 38 out of 100, an SEO score of 69, and a best practices score of just 54. For a luxury brand trying to attract high-value bookings, a slow and poorly optimised site was actively working against them.

Search engines penalise slow sites. More importantly, so do the people using them. A prospective client planning a wedding is not going to wait for a site to load.

    The Brief

Yusuf and the Pipeline Events team came to us with a clear commercial goal: the website needed to drive enquiries. Not just look impressive, but actually convert visitors into people making contact. In the events industry, a quick WhatsApp message can turn into a significant booking, so the path to getting in touch needed to be as short as possible.

The brand is polished and contemporary, built around a rich palette of purples and magentas. The site had to match that energy: luxurious without being heavy, confident without being cold.

    What We Built

We designed and built a bespoke site that leads with strong visual impact and then channels visitors toward two clear actions: send a WhatsApp message, or request a free quote. Everything else on the site supports those two goals.

    Key features included:

    • WhatsApp contact integration: a prominent click-to-chat button making enquiry instant and low-friction for mobile visitors
    • Free quote flow: a clear pathway for larger enquiries, with enough information to qualify the lead before first contact
    • Visual showcase: high-quality photography presented in a way that conveys the quality of the space and décor packages
    • Services overview: clear communication of what Pipeline Events offers and for which occasion types
    • Mobile-optimised throughout: events enquiries predominantly come from mobile; the entire experience reflects that
    • Full SEO and performance build: structured from the ground up for speed, visibility, and technical correctness

    The Results

The difference between the old site and the new one is not marginal.

    Metric Before After
    Performance 38 99
    Accessibility 82 96
    Best Practices 54 100
    SEO 69 100

Pipeline Events PageSpeed scores after the rebuild — Performance 99, Accessibility 96, Best Practices 100, SEO 100

Going from 38 to 99 on performance, and hitting perfect scores on both Best Practices and SEO, gives Pipeline Events a site that search engines can rank and visitors actually want to use.

We will add Yusuf's thoughts on the project here once we have caught up post-launch.
